We were lucky enough to spend a night with the Masai Tribe in the Loita Hills (not a tourist spot either!!). These fellas above were our guards for the night, having a rest as you can see. However, during the evening they were around the camp fire, and even told two of the group members who had gone to relieve themselves during the night to get back into the tents as there were lions around!!!!
A couple of us with the Tribe chief, well in his 80s and well under the influence of their home brew!! Needless to say, it was no surprise the next morning when we saw him lying on the ground wrapped in a blanket and not wanting to talk to any of us!!!
